MONEY WELL SPENT

On my last post I promised I'd do a separate post about the things I've bought lately. This is going to be a quite short post but that's what they've all been lately.

I had a really bad day at work, ended up going to a hospital for a check out and got a week off. Apparently I experienced some sort of a burn out, plus my heart problem got a bit worse. I've been working like a crazy person, plus all the stress at work kept on piling on me because I'm a rare Finn there. That's why I kinda snapped. So also another reason for not updating in a while!

On top of all this Cherry broke up with me.

2 x necklace: Happened to see these in Morticia some time ago and I couldn't decide on the color so I got both. I'm lacking accessories, badly! So I really needed these.

School uniform-ish cardigan: my sister gave this one to me. She used the have a more boyish phase but that's long gone and she was about to thrown alot of things out or just sell them but she offered the cardigan to me and heck yes I want it!

Blue shorts: bought from Vero Moda, while shopping with Cherry. I kinda though they might be the same color as my school uniform jacket and figures out, they are! Tho they are very short and I'm not quite comfortable with them yet, also I don't think I've ever owned anything in size S.

Innocent World "Greta" -set: when I first saw this I knew I had to have it! Even tho it's not in my specific color aka the light parts are not white, they are beige. I'm going to learn to love it. I already love it! And with this I'll have something to wear for summer!

Dollmore Zaoll Luv: Say hello to new Hamlet! The old Hamlet I have (DZ Aaron) is not what Hamlet's character is anymore so I decided to do a mold change! My old classmate happened to be selling her Zaoll Luv (modded into a boy) and I though it would be perfect! I always was jealous of the doll and I love that little face! Also him being just 52cm tall it wasn't a big leap from a MSD.

The old Hamlet will be put to use and I've planned a makeover for him. He's not necessarily going be a character, more of an art piece / collectible. 

The new Hamlet is going to go through a makeover aswell and I'm currently waiting for one of my fave faceup artist to have free sports so I can send him in. Slowly but surely building him up.

NEW THINGS

Yes two posts in less than 2 hours. It seemed like a good idea.

Since I got a job I've been getting a lot of money. So I've been buying stuff aswell. Most of it is still not here and some of the things I need to buy are still on the list. But what I have gotten I could show!

19 year ago I was given life, but only months ago I was given my first collar.

Okay this is for some reason really important to me. I love collars like this. I love the bondagey shit and fashion harnesses and all that. I just never get around getting any of that and I have trouble finding ones I'd like to wear. But I love it. And now I finally have a collar of my own! Must be contributing to the anime shota kitty boy -look I got going on. God only knows, that sounds horrible.

I also am very known for liking crowns. So I got shoes with them. These are planned to go with my Helsinki Lolita Convention fashion show outfit. Not more about that, don't want to spoil the idea and the surprise but now you'll know what shoes I'll be wearing. Tho I would not have gotten these if I really didn't like them for other things aswell. These have the lowest heels of all "pretty" shoes I own. Guess I needed that.

Another pair of shoes, a girlier one. For slightly sweeter or cuter looks.

I don't know what's going on. I just had to own it. I had to get a maid dress for some ungodly reason! I've always wanted one, like I want a school uniform (more like school uniforms) and now that I have money I decided to spend some of it on making one of my dreams come true!

I'm probably happier than I should.

I don't even know where I'll wear this or if I'm even ever going to wear to for anything. It's just gonna sit in my closet from now on. Loving it.

INNOCENT WORLD

So Innocent World has been having these pretty sweet sales and I realized my dream garment was on the "for sale" -list. And it was -50%!! So even tho I am currently not really swimming in money I kinda had to get it. And it arrived surprisingly fast!

Holy shit that looks good! I've actually been dreaming of some gray clothes to spark up my wardrobe a bit! 

I'll get better pictures someday when I can actually go outside.. And get a photographer! Finland is getting lighter and warmer I guess. So I can actually stay outside for more than 10 minutes withou crying my makeup off and turning red from the cold.

Plus I'm bad at taking pictures of myself.

Before I even ordered the damn thing I had drawn a picture of me and my pal Rin where I wore the salopette + my other actual clothes from my closet. Heh, funny! Tho I wish I always looked that cute and tiny.. Snyyyyy ;A; It's great being an imaginary anime.

Suddenly I'm going to introduce the world to my baby!

Her name is Maisa and she's an 4-year-old chihuahua girl. Legit my dogs are the light of my life - and I'm not even a dog person! I need to get a picture of my other beast as well.

RECENT MATERIALISM

So, I haven't even showed all my Christmas present over here yet! I've been really lazy, I know. But I've had tons of things to do at school and lots of cosplay stuff going on.. Phew, now I feel like I may have that extra hour to spend on updating my blog!

So yes, I've been buying and receiving lots of materia lately because of Christmas and the fact that I realized how much money I actually had left after my cosplay materials were all payed for. Let's take a look at what I've looted.

1. Lumene Natural Code makeup foundation (10. Vanilla). This might be the only foundation that is light enough for my skin. The coverage isn't too good but you can't always get everything you want.

2. Wet'n'Wild Silver nailpolish. I comfort shopped for some reason, I can't even remember what this was for. But it was cheap and looks kinda nice! Stays on better than I thought! I have a newly found love for gray/silver things so I kinda had to get it. I'm gonna use this on the new nails I'm doing today (pics later). 

3. Silver shampoo! Since I ran out of blue hairdye I thought like hey, why not let it fade a bit! I'm sick of blue shirts and blue bedsheets and blue hairbrushes. So I'm letting it fade away now - or more like just letting it be until I figure out what I want to do with it. The silver shampoo is gonna help keep it better/colder.

4. OLAY moisturizer. I've had this before and I love it because it has SPF 15. Plus it's one of the rare products that actually fit my skin.

I got this blouse as a Christmas present. I had ordered one that was completely different but for some reason they couldn't ship it to me, said there was something with th fabric. So I had to figure out a new one, and I gotta say, it's nothing like in the pictures. I wore it once and I don't think I'm gonna wear it again. It looks better in the pic than it does in real life.. I gotta say I'm disappointed.

But I did get a cute card with it!

These are maybe one of my favorite presents I got! Really pretty over-knee socks. I love them way too much, I'm almost scared of using them.

For some reason I bought two bracelets from Morticia. They were "Buy one, get one free!" -kind of deal. I've destroyed the other one a bit so I can make it into a new jewel for my tophat, which I also butchered already.

Last Monday Sallamari decided to take me to Kakkugalleria for the All-you-can-eat. We decided to also take advantage of the situation and planned out some outfits and her Maid dress. You see, I've wanted a chocolate print ouji outfit for a really long time, so we've decided to make one ourselves - aka Sallamari will help me.

Heheeeeey look at my new little friend! There was a dude selling plushies at Desucon Frosbite and since I had some cash I bought this little guy! Sallamari got the bigger one. My God he's so adorbs. I'm gonna start collecting these little guys.

And then to finish this all off have some selfies! I haven't really taken pictures of myself in a long long time..

ONLINE SHOPPING

Bodyline is having a Halloween SALE so I'm buying some clothes from there with Sallamari. Tho their SALE fucking sucks because yesterday my shopping cart was 135€ and this morning I updated - added nothing and took nothing out - it was over 200€. So thanks a bunch, your crazy sale lasted under 20 hours and you mentioned nothing. Had to cut down my shoppings to afford all the things I want and now my shopping cart is final. Making the order as soon as possible, already gave Sallamari my order.

SHOES - 40$ - I am missing these lolita/ouji shoes. Proper ones. I've been looking for perfect shoes for a long long time and then suddenly Sallamari linked these babies to me. I think they are pretty much perfect.

JACKET - 33$ - Something I really love is jackets. I feel like I can never have too many. Also this reminds me of Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas, so I kinda have to have it! I think this will go well with my striped pants.

PANTS - 27$ - I'm also missing pants like these. The buttons are gold, so I'll need to change them but that's no big trouble. I'm also buying lots of socks from eBay and I need something to show them off with.

WHERE DID THE MONEY GO, PRINCE??

There has been alot of talk about getting new clothes and sneak peaks of basicly everything. Twitter updates  about arriving parcels. Well now I finally have pictures of what I've bought with all my birthday money. And now that I look at all this I am pretty proud of myself, I spent my money well! Hope you like it all because I sure do.

1. Crown cardican (black&gold) by Bodyline. Cost 40$. I realized I don't have anything warm to go on top of my blouses or something to wear under a jacket. And since I'm not a hoodie person I kinda decided I need something like this. It's just so cute! Gold is not my color, but this doesn't come in silver so I may forgive myself.

2. Blouse (black) by Atelier BOZ. Bought as second.hand, cost 36€. This is my first ever brand ouji piece. So I love it very dearly plus I think it looks fabulous. It's a Japanese size S and I was told that it wouldn't probably fit me properly but I took the risk and it fits perfectly! Guess I'm smaller than we all think.

3. Blouse (black) by Bodyline. Cost 40$ One of the shirts I got along with Sallamari's order. It has little bows on the sleeves and I think it's a really cute shirt. Whenever I actually might get a lolita skirt or a jumperdress this is really something I'd wear with that!

4. Blouse with a long back (black) by Bodyline. Cost 40$. My second favorite purchase and most used at the moment. I really love that long back and the front ruffles. 

5. Suspender Miniskirt (black) by Hell Bunny, bought from Morticia. Cost 39€. I haven't owned a skirt in a long long time. It's been even longer since I've worn a skirt. So I think I really needed this one too! It's veeery short but I think it looks cool with torn stockings. If it were longer it would get boring. Besides I can wear black shorts under it. 

6. Pants (black) by Bodyline. Yet again something I didn't own before this. I didn't have any good shorter pants that wouldsuit my style, so I bought these! The material sadly picks up every dog hair etc there is but I really love them. It's an odd length but that makes me love them even more.

7. Top (black) by ????. This was a freebie from a friend who didn't need it. Said it was too girly. So I took it because ONCE AGAIN I didn't have anything summery or cooler to wear since it was hot. I kinda like it, it makes my boobs look huge and I look kinda skinny and girly in it. Not sure if I'd wear this out, but it's something nice to wear at home or at a friends place.

8. Puff sleeve blouse (black) by Bodyline. Cost 40$. Not my favorite shirt. I think it looked better on the website. It makes my shoulders look really broad and it doesn't suite me. But I think I'll grow on it and when I figure out what to wear with it it'll be good. No clothing with me goes un-worn.

1. Brooch from Backstreet. Cost 4€ (??). I had been checking out something similar from Bodyline but decided not to order quite yet. When I ran into this bad boy on a shopping trip with Tala I thought I just had to have it! Turns out I wear it quite alot and it brings a whole new look on my vests etc.

2. Ruffles + cameo piece by Bodyline. This came with last picture's number four. I use this quite alot too. My favorite ruffle and I do love my ruffles. The cameo piece is a really cool accessory even tho it's not reallt my color. I am being very forgiving nowadays I see.

3. Ruffles by Bodyline. Came with last picture's number eight. Still not in very big use since I like the other one better. This one isn't as fluffy as the other one, need some airing I guess.

4. Pink bowtie by Bodyline. Cost 4$. I really don't wear pink but it was so cute I thought what the heck, I might just give it a chance. And when I find the right kinda outfit this will be perfect. I like the kinda dusty pink color it has, not that sweet pastel pink. I also love the school uniform -kinda feeling it has.

5. Black bowtie by Bodyline. Came with last picture's number three. Attaches with a pin. I wear this quite alot with my BOZ I think they fit well together. I also love the size of this bow, bigger is better.

6. Blue bowtie by Bodyline. Cost 4$. The same deal as the pink one, this one is just more of my color. I really like it and I wear it with my not-so-showy outfits. Plus I'm really into this whole school uniform thing, I think they are cool and this bowtie will be perfect for that.

I finally actually took Hamlet with me somewhere. I really love my little "son".

These are my new shoes! What do you think? I bought them from SinisterSoles, the brand is Demonia, model TORMEN-804 (my second pair of Demonia shoes). They cost 109€ +some handling fees. The heel is about 14cm but they are very comfortable to walk with. I still need some practice but I thought it'd be alot harder! The round platform makes it easier.

Creme Brulée tea from The Ounce. I find myself more and more addicted to tea nowadays! It's just so delicious!

I bought some nail stuff too! I've been craving for long nails for a while and I decided to try something I've read about on Cupcake Couture's blog. Which is using tips! I bought some on eBay, they are actually very cheap and I bought some glue to go with it since I didn't have any at home. Nothing expensive or fancy, just some cheap glue. The glue happened to come in packs of 10 and the nails in packs of 500. Now I have something to work with for quite awhile!

The gluing was a bit difficult in the beginning but after few nails I got better. I cut them a bit shorter since they are very long, too long for my taste since I've loved with short nails for over 6 months. I filed them slightly leaner and rounded them for painting. Below rest the ending results. I sadly had to take them off quite quickly because of an eye contact fitting.

Tho it was very easy and it looked really good. I recommend people to try it. I actually might be selling some of the nails since there are 10 different sized (from 0 to 9) and not all of the sizes fit my nails.

I went out! Can you believe I went out again! This time it was with my classmates, it's really nice to hang around with them. They are the best! We spent a wonderful Friday evening at Kaivari and everybody esle drank except me. I actually didn't feel like drinking because my last time drinking turned out so bad. I think alcohol doesn't suite me and I actually don't want to drink. Never the less, I didn't even feel left out even if I was sober!
