MONEY WELL SPENT

On my last post I promised I'd do a separate post about the things I've bought lately. This is going to be a quite short post but that's what they've all been lately.

I had a really bad day at work, ended up going to a hospital for a check out and got a week off. Apparently I experienced some sort of a burn out, plus my heart problem got a bit worse. I've been working like a crazy person, plus all the stress at work kept on piling on me because I'm a rare Finn there. That's why I kinda snapped. So also another reason for not updating in a while!

On top of all this Cherry broke up with me.

2 x necklace: Happened to see these in Morticia some time ago and I couldn't decide on the color so I got both. I'm lacking accessories, badly! So I really needed these.

School uniform-ish cardigan: my sister gave this one to me. She used the have a more boyish phase but that's long gone and she was about to thrown alot of things out or just sell them but she offered the cardigan to me and heck yes I want it!

Blue shorts: bought from Vero Moda, while shopping with Cherry. I kinda though they might be the same color as my school uniform jacket and figures out, they are! Tho they are very short and I'm not quite comfortable with them yet, also I don't think I've ever owned anything in size S.

Innocent World "Greta" -set: when I first saw this I knew I had to have it! Even tho it's not in my specific color aka the light parts are not white, they are beige. I'm going to learn to love it. I already love it! And with this I'll have something to wear for summer!

Dollmore Zaoll Luv: Say hello to new Hamlet! The old Hamlet I have (DZ Aaron) is not what Hamlet's character is anymore so I decided to do a mold change! My old classmate happened to be selling her Zaoll Luv (modded into a boy) and I though it would be perfect! I always was jealous of the doll and I love that little face! Also him being just 52cm tall it wasn't a big leap from a MSD.

The old Hamlet will be put to use and I've planned a makeover for him. He's not necessarily going be a character, more of an art piece / collectible. 

The new Hamlet is going to go through a makeover aswell and I'm currently waiting for one of my fave faceup artist to have free sports so I can send him in. Slowly but surely building him up.

GO, BUY & CHANGE YOUR HAIR

These past weeks I haven't much had time to sit around at home, I've been pretty much on the go for a while! Just few weeks ago I had the chance to visit my best with Hilbo, so we had a very tiny slumber party. No more from that, but do have some makeup pictures!

I finally decided to make my hair what I really honestly wanted it to be! Aka I began my journey towards dark blue hair! I've had it twice before but back then I didn't know what I know now and for obvious reasons it did not work. Now I have more time and I have a plan!

Yet ofcourse things didn't go like in movies..

Bought two packs of bleach and I thought that this should get rid of the last bits of red and I'd be ready for the silver hairdye. But no!!

I actually think it looks rather cute, but so not what I wanted. Now I have to wait a few weeks before I bleach it again because of money and I need to let my hair rest for a while. It's in a terrible condition, I will have to clip down the ends to make it look healthier. Lets hope the next bleaching will get me close enough.. It's funny how my roots are like silvery white but the red/pink just won't leave me!

I look like a damn anime magical girl.  Like Madoka or something.

I went shopping with Sallamari. I was gathering all my hair supplies, plus makeup, tea and others. Also some small cosplay things if I remember correctly.

Ended up tea shopping once again! Last time we visited The Ounce Sallamari bought this tea, Liisa Peilimaassa (Alice in Mirrorworld) and she said it's really good. It smelled like heaven and I just had to get some for myself! I think it's damn delicious, but I've had better. I mean it has it's own unique taste to it, but I still think my chocolate tea is my favorite! If you have any good tea recommendations, please tell!

Bought a new powder and damn that took a million years because the container has changed. Also the name of my color has changed!

Here are my hair dyes! When I get my hair blonde enough I'm gonna use some Silver to get it to a cold color, a better base for the blue. Also I'm gonna use the Silver in my conditioner to fight the green undertone my blue hair always gets... I hope just one container is enough for my hair, it's getting kinda long and in the first bleaching I ran out!! It was damn horrible!

Some random shopping picture from when I went to town with Kiti. I bought stuff for my Tracon cosplay and also I haven't seen Kiti on a long long time. We just somehow click, you know.

Jack Steam is having a new faceup! Hilbo finally finished faceuping Heinz and I think that turned out really well, I was actually teeny bit jealous. So I decided that we need to personalize Jack a bit. I mean the faceup Varjostin made was beautiful, but it needed details. We used Varjostin's faceup as a base for it and Hilbo is already down to work. I will have lots of better pictures when the faceup is actually ready.

Uuummmh.. So I'm back to school again! Our school moved to Myllypuro because our school building had mold in it and it'll be out of use for few years. So now I have a really fucking huge school trip (almost and hour) and the place is ugly as fuck. Not to say crowded and messy too. Kinda scared on graduating there because there is no way a human can produce something pretty in there.

Our school yard is very beautiful and safe!

Class sealing. One of the first classes to have working computers in it. We are running out of classrooms because there really aren't that many and some are still under construction. Ps. There is no air ventilation!

Hella creepy fire exit. Our teacher made us use it once, just in case someone didn't know how to walk down stairs if fire emerged! Not cool, I was scared as fuck to climb down from the fifth floor on these!

MATERIALISM x 03122011

I have been getting a lot of stuff lately, you know, early cshritmas presents and winter clothes and stuff! And actually some of thesepurchases are a bit older but I haven't had time or camera to take pictures of them!

Winter in Finland is always cold, so army style black winter coat from EMP! I actually got the first jacket already but it was too big so we had to send it back and my smaller jacket shoul be here any day now! Waiting for it eagerly! I'm hoping to do some modifications to the jacket when it arrives to make it more Ouji, I guess. Some silvery lace or something! The buttons were really cool!!

My dreeeeeeeaamy bag came home! This is my first Christmas present and mom let me use it right from the start. I haven't actually had kind of an purse before, so this is very cool and I know I'm gonna be using this baby a lot! Hoping to accessorize is with a black fo tail and maybe some charms. Don't know yet, but looks totally awesome on it's own!

Makeup delivery! My Beauty Factory makeups finally came home! And I even got some extras on the sire, 2 pairs of fake eyelashes and a small brush set!The brushes were actually very shitty, no wonder the were free... Not gonna be using much! But the eyeshadows and lashes re awesome!

Sadly some of the colors were broken when I got it but no worries, still working! XD Aren't they gorgeous?

I got back home from school and look what was waiting for me. My Varusteleka parcel! And I even now what's in there, but I'm not damn allowed to open it before christmas ;_; Sobbu sobbu, I want my awesome new hat!!

Off to something else, I finally managed to fix my nails after so much whimpering and I even decorated 'em! I did a deep red base and black'n'silver water marble! This was my first time doing water marble and I love it! I love making it and I love how it looks!

I couldn't keep my hands from adding a little bit of bling. Gotta have more shine!

I've now started my on-the-job training  in Käpylän Klubi, and so ffar I'm liking it pretty much. It's just sad that it's this small closet where I'm working with bad air.. And so far I've been pretty much bored.. But otherwise it's nice! And no stict dressing code, fuck yeah! Only if I could start getting some real jobs to do.

Suddenly my outfit from few weeks away, I emptied my phone to my laptop and I found a lot of interesting pictures! Normal day at school. And I really should finish decorating that phone :I

To finish off, have Trauma and Hamlet from the Hartsilapset forum Lolita meet-up! Trauma was sooo cool, like guys in dresses is a bit used idea but this worked! You look awesome big guy! And so do you Hamlet. I think his faceup needs some firstaid, it's starting to look worn off.. And a new wig. And new everything..



NEW NAILS & BOOK FOR HAMLET x 10092011 x

So this time we are going with nice purple/plack/white theme. There you can see my bth hands and as you can see they are pretty much all different. I like that. Both hands have that tiger pattern nail and a purple cross, but otherwise they are all different. All the decorating has been done with Color Club nailpolishes, plus small decorations with nailart pens. As glue-on decoration I have some 3D roses (purple base) and light purple plastic diamonds. All topcoated with UV gel and cured for god knows how long. I think our UV oven is shit, takes forever to cure the nails!!

Something thse pictures don't show is the bottom of the nail being shimmery green! I thought I'd try that and it look so cool! Somehow this purple is a pretty girly colour, then I have the surprising dark green underneath!

Tracon 2011/Tracon VI was last weekend. Boooooys and guuuuurls I had so much fun! I was in cosplay on both of the days, first day I was 2D from Gorillaz and second day Mello. I met so many of my awesome friend, mostly hanged arounf with Aami and Hilbo.

I didn't have that much money to spend on getting any suveniers, but I did purchase my spellbook for my BJD boy, Hamlet! A Finnish artist called NoxyNobodi made it to mee as a custom work and asked me 7€ from it. That cheap?? I really love it and it was so nice to see her again, I'm such a fan for all her works!!!

The said book in close-up pic, Hamlet holding it. The book really opens and it's closed with leather bows. Inside the book pages are nice and yellow, the book actually looks kinda old and used. We agreed that she doesn't need to do anything on the pages like no texts or drawings, I'm gonna take care of that when needed. I'm also gonna put in some feathers and plants!

Also a picture of my dear boy holding it. Gawd damn what a picture, sorry for the rainy day lights, it looks pretty awful..... But there you can see the true size of the book compaired to Hamlet. I think my SteamPunk SD, Jack Steam will love it too!

So, I was in Ropecon last week! Two first days I was in cosplay (John, Homestuck) but the final day I was just as myself and wandered around with friends and dolls. I'll just let the pictures do the talking!

And to finish with my outfit! We photoshooted our dolls quite a lot, since Kuhmu had her new camera there! Lots of great pictures of dolls and I managed to model around infont of the camera to et some photos of myself!

This was my 3rd Ropecon and this year I even bought the ticket in! Yes, many don't do that since a lot of the stuff is happening outside and the space is good. But this time I was super brave and actually paid that nasty 25€ !! I didn't actually buy anything else than food, but something on the Varusteleka shop cought my eye! Austria military hats! I loooove uniforms and I love to take hints and tips from military dress up for my Kodona. I think I'm gonna need that hat!

And now comes the sad part. My girlfriend left me.

So I went to the movies with Kiti - as planned and we went to see the final Harry Potter movie. I loved the damn movie, I cried all along! Really, now I feel somehow empty! I was on the 1st class when Harry Potter landed to Finland, and I have been a fan ever since! Now I'm gonna go to the second grade of Vocational College and now this all ended. My cildhoods biggest thing ever just ended.

And trough all the books and movies, I didn't like Snape, the entire book series tought you not to trust Snape and so many times it was supposed to be Snape behind all the shit happening! But now, many things make sense and I feel so sorry for him. I sometimes actually feel like... I'm Snape.
