HELLOCON

Ahhh I'm finally getting some pictures from the Helsinki Lolita Convention. I'll post more about it when I get more materials (like the photography service photos).

All in all it was a good day. I was slightly frustrated with having to wake up so early and having to cope with such small dressing rooms but what can you do? And sadly there was nothing for me to buy, everything was too girly - and I was prepared for it! If anything I saved some money.

I think the fashion shows were all quite good but ours was the best (ofcourse..)! And we had the most models which kinda surprised me since gothic styles are not as popular anymore than maybe sweet, ott and classic - at least this is how I've seen it.

INNOCENT WORLD

So Innocent World has been having these pretty sweet sales and I realized my dream garment was on the "for sale" -list. And it was -50%!! So even tho I am currently not really swimming in money I kinda had to get it. And it arrived surprisingly fast!

 

Awesome brand plastic bag it came in.

Holy shit that looks good! I've actually been dreaming of some gray clothes to spark up my wardrobe a bit! 

I'll get better pictures someday when I can actually go outside.. And get a photographer! Finland is getting lighter and warmer I guess. So I can actually stay outside for more than 10 minutes withou crying my makeup off and turning red from the cold.

Plus I'm bad at taking pictures of myself.

Before I even ordered the damn thing I had drawn a picture of me and my pal Rin where I wore the salopette + my other actual clothes from my closet. Heh, funny! Tho I wish I always looked that cute and tiny.. Snyyyyy ;A; It's great being an imaginary anime.

Suddenly I'm going to introduce the world to my baby!

Her name is Maisa and she's an 4-year-old chihuahua girl. Legit my dogs are the light of my life - and I'm not even a dog person! I need to get a picture of my other beast as well.

RECENT MATERIALISM

So, I haven't even showed all my Christmas present over here yet! I've been really lazy, I know. But I've had tons of things to do at school and lots of cosplay stuff going on.. Phew, now I feel like I may have that extra hour to spend on updating my blog!

So yes, I've been buying and receiving lots of materia lately because of Christmas and the fact that I realized how much money I actually had left after my cosplay materials were all payed for. Let's take a look at what I've looted.

1. Lumene Natural Code makeup foundation (10. Vanilla). This might be the only foundation that is light enough for my skin. The coverage isn't too good but you can't always get everything you want.

2. Wet'n'Wild Silver nailpolish. I comfort shopped for some reason, I can't even remember what this was for. But it was cheap and looks kinda nice! Stays on better than I thought! I have a newly found love for gray/silver things so I kinda had to get it. I'm gonna use this on the new nails I'm doing today (pics later). 

3. Silver shampoo! Since I ran out of blue hairdye I thought like hey, why not let it fade a bit! I'm sick of blue shirts and blue bedsheets and blue hairbrushes. So I'm letting it fade away now - or more like just letting it be until I figure out what I want to do with it. The silver shampoo is gonna help keep it better/colder.

4. OLAY moisturizer. I've had this before and I love it because it has SPF 15. Plus it's one of the rare products that actually fit my skin.

I got this blouse as a Christmas present. I had ordered one that was completely different but for some reason they couldn't ship it to me, said there was something with th fabric. So I had to figure out a new one, and I gotta say, it's nothing like in the pictures. I wore it once and I don't think I'm gonna wear it again. It looks better in the pic than it does in real life.. I gotta say I'm disappointed.

But I did get a cute card with it!

These are maybe one of my favorite presents I got! Really pretty over-knee socks. I love them way too much, I'm almost scared of using them.

For some reason I bought two bracelets from Morticia. They were "Buy one, get one free!" -kind of deal. I've destroyed the other one a bit so I can make it into a new jewel for my tophat, which I also butchered already.

Last Monday Sallamari decided to take me to Kakkugalleria for the All-you-can-eat. We decided to also take advantage of the situation and planned out some outfits and her Maid dress. You see, I've wanted a chocolate print ouji outfit for a really long time, so we've decided to make one ourselves - aka Sallamari will help me.

Small planning for the shape of the outfit. I don't think this is what we're gonna stick with till the end but it's more like a guideline.

Have my half eaten gross cakes. No really everything was god damn delicious!

Heheeeeey look at my new little friend! There was a dude selling plushies at Desucon Frosbite and since I had some cash I bought this little guy! Sallamari got the bigger one. My God he's so adorbs. I'm gonna start collecting these little guys.

And then to finish this all off have some selfies! I haven't really taken pictures of myself in a long long time..

AND WE GO OUT

Some time ago me and Ruispatonki finally tried out Bubble tea with milk! I think I'm addicted, actually. It tasted a bit like milkshake. Seriously if you have not tried yet you should, it was awesome!

Mine was Chocolate bubbletea with tapioca pearls and hers was Strawberry with peach pearls. The tapioca pearls feel kinda funny when you bite into them. Kinda dense and chewy and taste almost like nothing, but I really started to like them as I went on! *---*

Sometimes people ask what I eat. This is my typical breakfast. I'm totally hooked up on SodaStream Cola (actually drinking it now), since mom bought us another gas bottle for the machine. I may drink liters of it every day, tho I shouldn't. Also since it's winter I have to take alot of vitamins because my skin and body suffer from winter badly. I take multivitamins, D-vitamin drops and Evonia pills for hair growth. 

My mom is a vitamin freak and she showers me with pills every winter. On the summer she showers me with sunblock...

Today Ruispatonki actually managed to drag me out of the house again. It was just a normal hang around, I guess. Tho I did try to find some items I need for my cosplays! We were supposed to take some photos and such but that's what we always try. And that's what we always miss...

A warm and cozy moment for tea at The Ounce again. This time we had Irish Whiskey!

A little sneak peak of what I got in the mail this week. When my 2 final items arrive I'll be making a bigger Christmas present post. Also on Tumblr I got requested a peak into my closet. I just might do that! When I get time and light that is..

SCHOOL STUDIO

We have a new Photography class and we got to use the school studio class freely, since our teacher was away. Since it's winter taking good outfit pictures can be challenging, because you have to dress up super warm and taking pictures outside is horrible ;~; So I was really glad about the studio!

I wore some pretty casual clothes, since it really was school - and it's not that I wouldn't want to wear ouji to school because I mostly do, I just felt lazy.

Yes, only managed to get one good outfit picture.. Rest of the time I either danced or laughed.

My darling class ;3; The original assignment was to practice taking school photos or passport photos. We ended up with this, since our old class photo is from our last Photography course! Everybody has changed so much since then..

HALLOWEEN

Finally Sallamari dragged me out to try out the new Bubble Tea place in Helsinki! She ever offered to pay for the fun and we both ended up tasting the Strawberry tea - without milk. Mine was with Passion fruit.. Thingies.. And her's was with Strawberry. I ofcourse ended up tasting both. What is hers is also mine! The packages were so cute oh my God!! Next time we go we have to taste some other flavor + taste it with milk!

Later on we raided a cheap candy store and came up with some Hello Kitty candycotton (rather delicious btw) and some sweet Lemon icetea. Day and money well spent! I need to go candy store raiding more often because by the way, that icetea was damn delicious!

Las Saturday some of my old friends + people I met at the UV&GLOW3 party invited me to a Halloween party! Yes, we were a little late but I think Halloween is more like a state of mind, not time. They really wanted everyone to dress up for the occasion, if not something Halloween-ish, then wear something white - we had UV lights! Brought these two together and made up a Jack Skellington costume from my closet. Not perfect but close enough for a small party.

I can say I was rather proud of my costume!

It was so magical to rave in a dark room with only few things glowing in weird and vivid colors!

COLD SIR

Few weeks back (what do you mean I'm a lazy updater??) Silva took some pictures of my new blue hair, since I don't have any good enough pictures of it yet. Also while at is she took pictures of my outfit because why the hell not? 

Some time ago there also was a UV GLOW party at my old friends house and I was invited. It was so cool to meet art school friends and dance and drink under the UV lights. Sadly I didn't get any good pictures of my UV glowing blue makeup since I didn't want to drag my camera to a place where I knew I wouldn't be able to guard it with my life.

Btw, the dress code was "anything white or UV glowing." You guys should already know I don't much wear white, but only for this occasion I agreed to wear a white shirt and white striped socks! And yes I glowed!

Quick snaps of something I bought from Bodyline a few weeks ago. Here are the pants and the jacket I bought from the Halloween sales. I'll take better pictures when I have time / I'm at home when it's still light outside. I also really want to show you my shoes, I really love them! Sadly it's too cold to wear them now, but I'll wear them again when it's warm outside and not as slippery..
